FEI Forum 2011 in Helsinki - posted on February 27th, 2011 by admin
The annual FEI Vaulting Forum in Helsinki (18-20 February 2011) was held according to a new formula, with a full day dedicated to three major subjects discussed by working groups, consisting of international trainers and officials appointed by their National Federations. The revision of the Vaulting Rules for 2012, a review of the scoring process and the promotion procedure for officials were addressed in the frame of those working sessions. And the results of the discussions finally all linked together in the perspective of optimising the competition format to encourage the organisation of CVIs, with the focus on the development of the discipline in general (based on indicators like: the increase of participation and number of events, worldwide geographic distribution, public awareness and media coverage…).
