This was the first time that a FEI Promotion Course to the status of International Candidate Judge and International Judge in Vaulting, open to trainers, was held in South America. Six national judges from Brasil, Colombia and Switzerland, eight vaulting coaches and four international vaulters from Colombia attended this course held by Erich Breiter (Aut) at the Army Club Escuela de Caballería. They studied the scoring of horses and vaulters through theoretical presentations, computer animation and videos for visual training, completing the course by an exam. All the participants successfully finished the course and 5 judges among them were proposed for promotion.
