Eight trainers, among which Maria Fernanda Rosales, Maria Judith Rosales, Alegría de la Torre and Chiara Cardelina, and about 20 vaulters participated in this clinic.

In addition to the practical work including lungeing and training vaulters there were conferences about lungeing theory, sports science, and vaulting maters like designing a Free Test.

Presently vaulting is officially recognized in Ecuador by the National Federation and all trainers and vaulters are members of the FN. The sport is organized according to the Unified Latin-American Rules and the FEI Rules.

Currently one of the priorities in Ecuador is the training of national judges.

Ecuador has already participated in the 1st International Vaulting Encounter in Sao Paulo 2004, the CVI Sao Paulo 2006 and is interested in organizing invitational competitions under the Unified Latin-American Rules, as well as participating in invitational competitions organized in Colombia. Also a team is training with the goal of being ready to compete for Ecuador at the following World Equestrian Games in Kentucky, 2010.
