Final at IVC World Masters in Wiesbaden 2007

Daniela Penz, AUT, Matthias Lang, FRA, the senior team of JRG Köln, GER and the junior team of VV Zillertal, AUT are currently in the lead of the Worldwide IVC Vaulting Ranking, after the CVIs of Saumur (FRA), Portugruaro (ITA), Brno (CZE) and Stadl Paura (AUT).
The three best placed Female Individuals, Male Individuals and Senior Teams of the season 2006/2007 (according to the IVC World Ranking of April 2007) will be invited to participate in the IVC World Masters in Wiesbaden on 26th and 27th May 2007.
So international top-vaulters will join the elite in jumping, dressage and driving, who participate every year in high level competitions and demonstrations at this event, where ten thousand spectators gather around the arena in front of the magnificent Castle Biebrich during the week-end.The prize money for the winners of each vaulting class will be 1.000 Euros. The stabling for the horses will be free of charge.
The IVC has launched the Worldwide IVC Vaulting Ranking last April, based on the rules it has submitted to the FEI for an “FEI World Cup Vaulting” and “World Vaulting Ranking”, in order to prepare the future development of vaulting.
Starting with the CVI of Saumur (FRA), the competitors of all CVIs can now monitor their placing on an international scale, like in many other sports. There are separate Rankings for Female and Male Individuals, based on the 3 best final scores obtained within the previous 12 months at individual competitions on CVIs. If the final score is lower than 90% of the score after the first round, the score of the first round is taken into account.
Only 90% of the score achieved by vaulters, who did not qualify for the second round, is counted. 80% of the score achieved at 1* competitions, 110% of the score achieved at Continental Championships and 120% of the score achieved at World Championships are taken into account. There are separate Rankings for Junior/Senior Teams, based on the 3 best final scores obtained at team 1* /2* competitions on CVIs held during the previous 12 months. 100% of the scores obtained at team 2* competitions and 80% of the scores at team 1* competitions are counted.
If the final score is lower than 90 % of the score after the first round, the score of the first round will be taken into account.
Only 90% of the score achieved by teams, who did not qualify for the second round, are counted. 110% of the score achieved at Continental Championships and 120% of the score achieved at World Championships are taken into account.
