Each compulsory exercise performed by the vaulters will be scored by a mark of 0 to 10, decimals are allowed. Further a score for the horse will be added. There is no time limit for the Compulsory Test.
Free Style Test (Kür) In the Free Style the vaulters exhibit their artistic interpretation and overall ability in a flowing series of dynamic movements and static exercises, all performed to instrumental music.
In individual competition, the vaulter has only one minute to complete all exercises in their Free Style. As a minimum of seven exercises must be included, and each static exercise is held for three canter strides, the sequence must flow smoothly and fluidly from one exercise to another to be effective.
